People can’t get movie titles Right!

 So I was managing at the movie theatre this weekend, and after the third person said, “Two adults for Need for Speed.” And I give a look of disgust and say purposely to make them feel stupid, even though I knew what they ment. “Um, you mean Fast and the Furious?” People are stupid! It made me remember all the stupid titles people would come up with in the 10 years Ive worked there. Lets see:

Superman..actually ment Spiderman

Spiderman…actually ment Superman

Hog Wild…actually ment Wild Hogs

Alien Monsters…actually ment Monsters vs Aliens

Iron Eagle….actually ment Eagle Eye

Cheaper By the Dozen….actually ment Pink Panther

Nicolas Cage…..actually ment Known

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King…..actually ment You can just say Lord of the Rings and I will know what YOUR talking about!

“I forgot what Im seeing, hold on…”  They look at the board, we only have 8 movies if you dont remember what you came to see, you shouldnt come at all!

I could go on and on, it never fails to amaze what people come up with and expect me to know excatly what they mean, even though i can figure it out, i do tend to say, we dont have that here. Nice. haha

Havent come to a conclusion on if I liked Indiana Jones 4 or not. I think i need to watch it again. It wasnt has good as I had hoped….so yeah I dont know what to think yet. Go see it though!

I find that Im funnier and quick with good one liners when im drinking…why? Of course  me and  Nicole already think we are funny even if people dont. Maybe thats the answer….Im not funny,I just think I am when im drunk. Nice. Look like an idiot and not even know it.

Checking the dashboard tonight like I do every night before i go to bed I notice ericas post….which makes me think of when I was downstate at CMU and before I had tumblr, …I was reading hers, thanks to nicole, and I came across the simpson “erica”…but the one that someone made of her, I dont remember the details, but someone got into her account and changed her simponized version of her and made her all goth and ridic. that has to be one of the funniest moments in my life…i remember saying to Nicole…”Only to Erica..” hahaha. Love that girl. Cracks me up.

So Im back from the duster…so yeah im ridic. But i thought id share a little story from today, which i just happen to remember. So Im riding back from Marquette today with my mom, and she is sitting in the passenger side, she pulls her visor to the side towards the window to block the sun and says, “Theres an airbag in here?”……I go “What?”…she says to me “See it says it here.” Theres a sticker on the visor, which on most cars have an airbag on the passenger side say ,” Air Bag. See directions.” Which means of course, the airbag that is on the dash, not one from the visor. I turn to her and say ,”Your ridiculous.” She says , ” I thought it was to protect your head.” She still didnt get it, and kept pointing to the sticker and and kept looking at the visor. All I have to say is, you wonder where I get it from? I laughed the whole way home, trust me. It was the most ridiculous thing ever.

After seeing the “vidblog” that Dave had posted, it got me to pull out my old footage from that same time period and watch it for the first time in probably 2 years. Whenever I go to BDubs now and we talk about how great it used to be “back in the day”, I can’t help but wonder if it really was that great, or if it is just engraved that way in our minds. After watching this, however, it confirmed for me that yes, karaoke at BDubs during its prime really was as great as I remember it. So many awesome people in one place. — ridiculousroo

 I miss Bdubs!! But yeah, nothing compares to that year! I dont think i missed one week that year. Those are my memories from Karaoke night. They were so different after…we tried hard to make them as fun. Great video. Its sad, but I think almost everyone revolved thier school schedule for wed. karaoke nights! It was worth it!

OK. So i for some reason, and I dont know why, but I knew Del won an emmy, I had to reasure it with Nicole, and she said YES. i just saw a video with him having it in his hand, thats what made me think of it. Wow, to think I have a friend who has an emmy on his fireplace mantel. wow. just thrown back a little. sorry. I guess it didnt click the first time around, when I found out. Well guess I just have another story to tell the kids at work and make them feel like Im amazing. Where have I been? But at the same time I feel like I already knew that. Brain cells where are you?

Oh Jill dont worry, I need to work out to. But dont worry the stardust has a V.I.P. exercise room. Theres a cool exersice bike, that looks like they took a 1982 ten speed and put a banana seat on it and you know what? it has a speedometer on it to, I hit 15 mph on it last week. If you send a postcard ill give you a pass. Its great.
